Speaking at the club's latest press conference Rocco Reitz seems to be planning to stay with Borussia Mönchengladbach.

“I have no other information. I’m here to help Borussia succeed this season," the 23-year-old told the media.

"My wife and I feel very comfortable here – we even moved within Mönchengladbach recently. This year, I want to take another big step in terms of responsibility.

“Rumours are normal. You play one good game and there are articles. I don’t read all of it. I told my agent I don’t want to hear anything right now,” Reitz explained.

The Duisburg native has been linked with several moves away from Borussia Park in recent weeks with English clubs circling.

Last season, the midfielder occasionally suffered from injuries but managed to play a part in 27 games for Die Fohlen.
