Stanisic included in Bayern plans

As per reports from Sky, Bayern München defender Josip Stanisic is firmly within the clubs plans moving forward into next season under Vincent Kompany.

Stanisic has made just four Bundesliga appearances for the club in an injury-hit season thus far. However, reports suggest that the Croatian defender is firmly within plans for the 2025/26 campaign.

Spending the second half of the last campaign on loan at Bayer Leverkusen, Stanisic is now viewed as a viable right-back option for die Rekordmeister.

The club are also keen on Stanisic being considered an option at centre-back, with Hiroki Ito also carrying similar versatilities.

Stanisic remaining in these plans opens the door for Eric Dier's potential exit. The Englishman is reportedly set for departure in the summer and is not putting any pressure on the club while awaiting a decision, despite the defender wishing to stay at the club.

It is likely that Bayern's full focus in the summer however, will remain on securing the signature of Florian Wirtz, with the club prepared to throw everything at convincing both Wirtz and Leverkusen into a deal.
