TSG Hoffenheim loanee Haris Tabakovic will leave Borussia Mönchengladbach, at least for the time being, based on reports.

Sky Germany is aware that the striker was informed of this in a personal meeting with the Rhineland club's hierarchy.

However, Gladbach reportedly want to keep their options open to potentially rejoin the transfer negotiations at a later date.

The 31-year-old marksman himself is said to be open to a permanent move to Gladbach, for whom he has scored 12 goals this season.

However, there is a sticking point. Hoffenheim's €5million price tag is currently too high for Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Consequently, Tabakovic will initially return to Hoffenheim, where he is not part of their plans for the upcoming 2026-27 campaign.
