SV Elversberg have found their replacement head coach in Vincent Wagner the club has reported.

Horst Steffen joined Werder Bremen last month which paved the way for the 39-year-old Wagner at the Saarland outfit.

Wagner earned his stripes with TSG Hoffenheim's second team specifically and recently led them to promotion.

Sporting Director Nils-Ole Book is delighted with the signing: “We have intensively studied Vincent Wagner, his footballing approach, and his personality.

"With everything he brings, he's a great fit for us – he combines professional expertise with creative approaches and a bold style of play that we're excited to see in Elversberg.

“Vincent will not only continue our current path, but will enrich and develop it with new energy,” he added.
