A move for Timo Werner away from RB Leipzig in winter is becoming increasingly likely, per Sky Germany's latest report.
Unless something extraordinary happens, the former German international is expected to move to the MLS.
Discussions are currently ongoing with the player's camp and several unnamed US clubs in the topflight.
Werner's contract with RB Leipzig runs until 2026 and the Saxony club is hoping to cash in for a small sum rather than let him go for free.
In early July, his proposed move to the New York Red Bulls supposedly fell through due to salary demands.
