Darmstadt look to maintain their slight hopes of promotion with a win away at Karlsruhe. The hosts hit the 40-point mark last week, but they’re yet to mathematically confirm their league status for next season.

Patric Pfeiffer will not be part of Darmstadt's traveling squad after his first-half sending off in the eventful draw against Elversberg, while Florian Nurnberger and Luca Marseiler remain on the sidelines.

Karlsruhe lost three of their last four games, but there are no new injuries or suspensions for Christian Eichner. Florian Kohfeldt’s men won the reverse fixture 3-2 as Matej Maglica scored on both ends. Darmstadt are unbeaten in this fixture for nearly five years.

Predicted Lineups

Karlsruhe: Bernat; Scholl, Franke, Kobald; Jung, Förster, Rapp, Wanitzek ©, Herold; Ben Farhat, Schleusener

Darmstadt: Schuhen ©; Lopez, Vukotic, Maglica, Petretta; Klefisch, Akiyama; Richter, Corredor, Furukawa; Lidberg
