Maximilian Bauer's transfer from FC Augsburg to DSC Arminia Bielefeld can be considered a done deal, Sky Germany believes.

A full agreement with Augsburg and the club from the German second division is said to be in place.

The 25-year-old centre-back will join the North-Rhine Westphalian outfit on a six-month loan until the end of the season.

Bauer's game time has become severely limited with the Bavarian club and didn't feature once for the senior team since the campaign began.

The German has been reduced to action in the Regionalliga Bavaria, featuring in 10 games while scoring a solitary goal.

Even with club captain Jeffrey Gouweleeuw injured, the likes of Keven Schlotterbeck, Chrislain Matsima and Noah Banks kept Bauer on the sidelines.
