Hull City is eagerly pursuing a transfer for Mert Kömür but FC Augsburg are holding out for a bigger fee, Sky Germany understands.

Two offers made by the newly promoted Premier League side of over €8 and €9million have both already been rejected.

Augsburg is said to be envisioning a transfer fee of €13-14 million plus bonuses and a share of future resale profits.

Kömür is apparently open to a new challenge abroad, but Augsburg have not reached any agreement with Hull yet.

The 20-year-old isn't putting on any pressure to force his way out and is still under contract in Augsburg until 2029.

Should an offer not take their fancy, the Bundesliga club would be content to keep Kömür given the quality he possesses.
