According to information from RTL/ntv and sport.de, Phillip Tietz wants to leave FC Augsburg in the winter transfer window.
Several clubs are already interested in the striker who is unhappy with his lack of appearances for the Bavarian side.
Most recently, coach Manuel Baum even played winger Marius Wolf instead of Tietz in the center forward position.
The 28-year-old is therefore considering a transfer and talks are already underway with clubs from the Bundesliga about a transfer.
Sources at Transfermarkt.com believe 1.FC Heidenheim and Mainz 05 are keen, alongside 2.Bundesliga club 1.FC Kaiserslautern.
Furthermore, there are also concrete inquiries from other European leagues, but it's not just in Europe that Tietz is being closely watched.
There's also an inquiry from unnamed sides in Saudi Arabia – however, a move to the Gulf State doesn't seem very likely at the moment.
Tietz has made ten Bundesliga appearances this season, coming off the bench and scoring one goal – his contract runs until 2027.
