Report: Bayern keen to give long-term deals to duo

Bild reports that Bayern Munich are keen to tie down Aleksandar Pavlovic and Josip Stanisic to new long-term contracts.

Bayern Munich are reportedly looking to extend the contracts of Aleksandar Pavlovic and Josip Stanisic.

According to Bild, the Bavarians want to tie the two former academy players down to five-year deals.

Pavlovic broke into the Bayern first team in the 2023/24 season, making 22 appearances with two goals and two assists. His current contract expires in 2027.

The central midfielder was included in Germany's squad for Euro 2024, but was forced to withdraw due to tonsillitis.

Stanisic is set to return to Munich after a very successful loan spell at Bayer Leverkusen, making 38 appearances with four goals and six assists to his name. He's under contract until 2026.

The 24-year-old defender will represent Croatia at the European Championship.
