Reliable transfer journalist David Ornstein is reporting that Bayern Munich are exploring a move to sign Liverpool's Rio Ngumoha.

The 17-year-old sensation is the reigning Bundesliga champions' primary target for the left wing, reinforced by Sky Germany.

While there is no contact yet between the two clubs, Liverpool insist Ngumoha is not for sale but are aware of Bayern's watchful eyes.

Ngumoha himself is aware of Bayern’s strong interest and intentions which is apparently being driven by head coach Vincent Kompany.

The English talent signed his first professional deal with Livrpool in September, which ties him down to Anfield until June 2028.

His breakthrough is said to be the reason why Liverpool didn't buy a direct replacement for Luis Diaz who moved to Bayern last summer.

Ngumoha made a total of 29 appearances across all competitions for the Reds in 2025-26, contributing two goals and an assist.

Update (18:17 CET): Sky Germany understands that Bayern reached a full verbal agreement with Ngumoha's camp on Tuesday, 26 May.
