Currently under contract with Bayern Munich until 2027, Konrad Laimer could soon agree to a new deal with the German champions.

According to Sport Bild, initial talks between the player and the club over a potential extension have already taken place.

Laimer’s salary, currently estimated at around €9 million per year, is expected to be slightly adjusted as part of the new contract.

“'Konny' is a great guy and a key player for the future. It would be wonderful if he stayed at FC Bayern for a very, very long time,” sporting director Christoph Freund recently said.

The 28-year-old Austrian international has been a regular starter since Vincent Kompany took over as coach, primarily playing as a full-back. He joined Bayern on a free transfer from RB Leipzig in 2023.
