Bayern updates: Peretz to stay put for coming season, Hennig receives loan out

German footballing journalist Frank Linkesch of Germany's Kicker Magazine reports that FC Bayern München have decided against loaning out goalkeeping prospect Daniel Peretz next season.

In other Bayern related transfer news, a loan-out for Germany U17 World Cup winner Maximilian Hennig to neighboring Unterhaching has been confirmed.

Despite some talk of a developmental loan out, it appears as if Israeli keeper Daniel Peretz will be remaining put in München next season. The 23-year-old is slotted for the #3 role behind veterans Manuel Neuer and Sven Ulreich. Given that both Neuer and Ulreich are only on the FCB books for one more season, it's even possible that Peretz might receive an audition as the future keeper of the record champs. Neuer (38) and Ulreich (36) may continue to struggle with injury and form issues.

The decision to retain Peretz makes perfect sense given that Alexander Nübel's future still lies in Stuttgart and that prospect Johannes Schenk was permanently sold to Preußen Münster earlier this week. Nübel remains under contract with the record champs, but will play in Swabia on a new loan deal good for two additional seasons. Peretz thus has some time to prove his mettle. He's already garnered respective starts in the league and Pokal.

In other Bayern related transfer news, a loan-out for Germany U17 World Cup winner Maximilian Hennig to neighboring Unterhaching has been confirmed. The 17-old defender will be joining a neighboring Bavarian club with whom Bayern have already undertaken quite a bit of business with this summer. SpVgg Unterhaching will take the teenager loan for a season.

"Maxi is a prime example of a true Bavarian home-grown talent," FCB campus director noted yesterday "He's been wearing the Bayern jersey since the U9s and has continued to develop in his ten years with us. We believe in his footballing potential and are convinced that the loan to SpVgg Unterhaching is the right step for his further development. We will support him very closely there."
