VfL Bochum will have to do without Romario Rösch for the next few weeks, the Ruhrpott club confirmed via X/Twitter this afternoon.
The 26-year-old has suffered an unfortunate groin hernia and underwent minor surgery today, Wednesday 18 March.
Rösch joined Bochum in July of last summer on a free transfer from German third division outfit SSV Ulm 1846.
He initially started in five of Bochum's first six games in the 2.Bundesliga, but last featured in September during a 2-1 loss to 1.FC Nürnberg.
Since then the full-back has been reduced to very limited appearances for Bochum's second team in the Regionalliga West.
