Over the summer, Michael Olise was heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid, but the Frenchman ultimately stayed at Bayern Munich.

Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé, who was with Olise and the rest of the France squad as the speculation unfolded, was following the situation too.

“I heard the speculation. But I know that situation very well myself: When I was a PSG player, there were countless rumors. And I think it would be disrespectful to advise a player to move clubs. That would be unfair to Bayern. Especially since Bayern is a great club where Michael can achieve a lot,” Mbappé told Sport Bild before praising his France teammate:

“One thing is clear: Every club in the world would like to have Michael Olise. He’s an outstanding player,” he added.

Olise, 24, has played for Bayern since 2024 and still has three years left on his contract.
