2. Bundesliga leaders Schalke host fellow promotion hopefuls Kaiserslautern on Sunday afternoon. Schalke’s marquee signing, Edin Džeko, is included in their squad and is expected to make his debut coming off the bench.
Kaiserslautern started the new year with a late win over Hannover last weekend. Torsten Lieberknecht’s side have the chance to close the gap with the league leaders to five points if they snatch their first away win since mid-October.
