Daniel Farke is reportedly interested in bringing Julian Weigl to Leeds United this summer, Sky Germany believes.

The 29-year-old and his former coach remain on good terms and the Yorkshire-based side have already enquired about him.

From Weigl’s perspective, only a move to the Premier League would be appealing, with Leeds looking likely to get promotion.

The English Championship side could make a move for the ex-BVB midfielder once the current campaign ends.

Weigl is believed to be happy at Gladbach and under contract until 2028. No talks between the parties have taken place yet.
