Less than a week after the conclusion of the 2023/24 Bundesliga campaign, Borussia Dortmund are looking to waste no time in solving their goalscoring issues.

Stuttgart's Serhou Guirassy is understandably a wanted man after his 28 league goals spearheaded VfB to an eventual second-place finish. As per reports from Fabrizio Romano, “Borussia Dortmund are now pushing to advance in talks” to land the signature of the forward.

Guirassy reportedly has a release clause of 17.5 million euros, and BVB are currently in the hot seat to activate this.

Donyell Malen finished the campaign as the club's top goalscorer with 13, whilst Niclas Füllkrug netted 12 times in 31 Bundesliga appearances.

The Champions League finalists now turn their attention to one of the league's leading marksmen in Guirassy.
