Werder Bremen missed a chance to end their winless run after they conceded an injury-time goal to Eintracht Frankfurt, but it was an unforgettable game for Weserstadion debutant Jovan Milošević. The Serbian scored his first Bundesliga goal in his second game for the club after completing a loan move from VfB Stuttgart.

“After my goal, the emotions were obviously running high,” said the 20-year-old striker. “I’m really happy about my goal. It was a great ball from Samuel (Mbangula) and a strong run from Romano (Schmid). They made it easy for me to finish off the move.

“Apart from that, there isn’t much more to say. We have to look ahead. If we fight for each other like we did today, I’m feeling positive going forward.”

Bremen will face Bayer Leverkusen away from home on matchday 19. The reverse fixture also ended 3-3 in the first game of the season at Weserstadion, but it was Bremen who scored the late equalizer in Erik ten Hag's second and last Bundesliga game as Leverkusen's head coach.
