After being forced off in Borussia Dortmund’s 2-0 win over FC Augsburg last week, Daniel Svensson has returned to full training.

BVB coach Niko Kovač confirmed this on Thursday, saying the Swedish left-back is fit and ready to play against Hamburger SV on Saturday.

“Daniel trained with the team today. He’s available for selection,” Kovač said at a press conference on Thursday, also confirming that, aside from Filippo Mané and Emre Can, he has a full squad available for the upcoming fixture.

The BVB head coach is keen to build on the 2-0 win over Augsburg.

“We created chances and made good progress there,” Kovac said, adding:

“We want to continue building on and improving that over the next eight games."
