After coming on against Bochum on Sunday, Leroy Sané once again showed what he can do for Bayern Munich, scoring a fantastic 4-0 goal in his side's 5-0 win.
However, the goal doesn't change the fact that the 28-year-old is not currently a starter for the Bavarians, with Michael Olise ahead of him in the pecking order.
"Leroy is putting himself out there, he's trying to step on the gas in training. But Michael Olise is a step ahead of him in that position at the moment," Bayern board member for sport Max Eberl told Bild.
But despite the difficult situation, Eberl is encouraging Sané to keep working hard for his chance.
"Leroy is putting the pressure on, we will still need him," he stressed.
Sané's contract expires at the end of the season and Eberl recently stated that the club are in good talks with the winger over an extension.
