Ernest Poku has seemingly emerged as a concrete transfer target for Fiorentina.

According to Bild, the Serie A side have opened talks with Bayer Leverkusen over a potential move for the 22-year-old winger.

Poku is reportedly high on Fiorentina’s list of transfer targets, with sporting director Fabio Paratici said to have identified him as his preferred option on the wing.

It's currently unclear how much the Viola would be willing to pay for the Dutchman, but Leverkusen are believed to be looking for a fee of around €25 million.

Sunderland and Nottingham Forest have also been linked with Poku this summer, but neither of them have pursued concrete negotiations, as Fiorentina are now doing.

The Dutch winger is under contract with Die Werkself until the summer of 2030.
