The German Football Association (DFB) and Adidas have presented Germany's new away shirt for the 2026 World Cup.

Germany will wear the shirt for the first time when they face Switzerland in a friendly in Basel on March 27.

The jersey features a deep blue base, reminiscent of the historical blue training tops of the German national team.

This foundation is electrified by vibrant light-blue accents arranged in a 1990s-inspired vertical structure. Adding to the retro aesthetic, a continuous zigzag pattern of diagonal jagged stripes runs across the fabric, drawing inspiration from classic Adidas shoebox designs.

The jersey also honors the team’s legacy with a subtle "Since 1954" inscription at the hem.

"I find a Germany jersey in this color unusual – but really good,” said Germany attacker Florian Wirtz.

"I am very much looking forward to playing in it soon. Our fans can also wear the away jersey as a great casual outfit. And it definitely makes you excited for the World Cup."

Where to buy Germany's 2026 World Cup away shirt

The new DFB away jersey is available from today at 10 a.m. via the official DFB fan shop, the adidas online store, adidas retail stores, and selected retailers.

The standard adult version is priced at 100, while the children’s version costs 75. The authentic match version, as worn by the national team players, is available for 150.
