After spending the second half of last season on loan at RB Leipzig, Brighton & Hove Albion attacker Brajan Gruda is set to extend his stay with Die Roten Bullen.
According to Sky Germany, Gruda is already in Leipzig, with the Bundesliga club “cautiously optimistic” that the 22-year-old will be able to join training on Monday.
The deal will see Gruda return on another loan spell, this time with a mandatory purchase clause worth between €25 million and €30 million.
Gruda made 14 appearances for Leipzig during his loan spell last season, scoring three goals and laying on three assists.
