After spending the second half of the 2025/26 season on loan at Hamburger SV, Albert Grønbæk is now set to join the Bundesliga outfit on a permanent basis.
That’s reported by Sky Germany, who claim that a transfer fee of just over €4.5 million has been agreed with Stade Rennais.
Only the final details remain to be ironed out, with Grønbæk in line to sign a contract until 2030.
The versatile Dane had a strong end to the season, scoring once and providing two assists in his last three Bundesliga games.
