FC Augsburg's Keven Schlotterbeck is said to be looking for a change of scenery during the upcoming summer transfer window.

As reported by Kicker.de, the 29-year-old has informed Augsburg's management that he wishes to leave this summer.

Schlotterbeck lost his starting position towards the end of last season, despite wearing the captain's armband for a spell.

Even in the absence of Jeffrey Gouweleeuw, the left-footed defender, who already considered a move last summer.

With the likes of Chrislain Matsima, Cedric Zesiger and Noah-Kai Banks for competition, reclaiming his place seems unlikely.

While Schlotterbeck is still under contract at the Bavarian club until 2027, all signs point to a departure for the German.
