Borussia Dortmund coach Niko Kovac has called on Bayern Munich assistant coach Aaron Danks to apologise after the pair were involved in a verbal altercation during Saturday’s DFL-Supercup clash at Signal Iduna Park.
Kovac said there was no doubt about what Danks said, but he didn't want to reveal the exact words exchanged between the two.
“My English is quite good, so I understood very well what he was trying to tell me,” Kovac said of the incident, according to Kicker.
“It wasn't okay. It’s up to him; he should apologise,” Kovac said.
Bayern won the match 2-1.
