Kiel defender Rosenboom pens new deal until 2026

    Holstein Kiel have successfully extended their working relationship with defender Lasse Rosenboom.

    The announcement made on Wednesday afternoon ties the 23-year-old to the club until the summer of 2026. 

    Rosenboom moved from SV Werder Bremen’s youth team to Kiel in 2023 after impressing in the Regionalliga Nord.

    Although he wasn’t an instant starter, the German went on to make 11 appearances as Kiel achieved promotion from the 2.Bundesliga.

    Rosenboom has since made 17 appearances in Germany’s top-flight while also netting a brace in Kiel’s late 3-2 win over DFB-Pokal oppenents Aachen back in August.
