Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé has revealed that he attracted interest from the German Bundesliga in the past, when he was still playing for AS Monaco.

According to the French international, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig all inquired for him before he joined Paris Saint-Germain in 2017.

"Bayern came to me when I was still a bit younger and Monaco were ready to let me go," Mbappé revealed in an interview with Bild am Sonntag.

“Dortmund also inquired. And RB Leipzig. Those are just the three clubs I remember. Maybe there were others, but I don’t remember. Now everyone is asking, but now it’s a little too late.”

Mbappé went on to spend seven years at PSG before sealing a move to Real Madrid in 2024.
