Fast forward to today - more than 15 years later - and Müller has turned 34 and is about to make his 150th Champions League appearance for the Bavarians.

If the Bayern veteran plays in Tuesday night's Champions League quarter-final against Arsenal, he will become only the third player to make 150 Champions League appearances for one club, joining Iker Casillas (150 for Real Madrid) and Xavi Hernandez (151 for Barcelona).

In 149 Champions League appearances, Müller has scored 54 goals and provided 33 assists.
