Bayern München star James Rodriguez and his representatives want to set up a meeting with the club bosses in December or January to discuss the Colombian international's future, Sport Bild reports.

The Bavarians want to keep the 27-year-old Real Madrid loanee and have the option to sign him on a permanent deal for €42 million.

However, the offensive midfielder is not sure that he wants to stay in München, and a farewell in the summer is 'quite conceivable' according to Bild.

Reportedly, Juventus and clubs from England have shown an interest in James while a return to Real Madrid has also been mentioned as a possibility.

James Rodriguez has made 49 appearances for Bayern München with 11 goals and 16 assists to his name since joining the club on a two-year loan deal in the summer of 2017.
