Pressure mounting on Hütter as Gladbach are thrashed 6-0 by Dortmund

Adi Hütter's Gladbach side suffered a new setback as they were thrashed 6-0 by Borussia Dortmund.
After two games without a loss, it looked like Borussia Mönchengladbach had turned a corner, but questions will once again be asked of head coach Adi Hütter following a 6-0 thumping against Borussia Dortmund on Sunday evening.

Marco Reus bagged a brace, and Donyell Malen, Marius Wolf, Youssoufa Moukoko and Emre Can also got on the scoresheet as Dortmund blew Hütter's Gladbach side out of Signal Iduna Park.

Hütter, however, didn't feel Gladbach's performance was as bad as the result suggests.

"As hard as it sounds in the end with this result, I think it was an even game until the 70th minute. We had good opportunities, but unfortunately couldn't score the goal," Hütter told reporters.

"At one end of the pitch, Jonas Hofmann shoots at the crossbar and the ball bounces out, and at the other end Marius Wolf shoots at the bottom of the crossbar and the ball goes in. That made the difference today. We fell apart after the 3-0 goal. That shouldn't happen to us.

"We played well in Bielefeld and were tactically very disciplined against Augsburg. Of course, such a clear defeat is a setback."
