Adam Hlozek is ready for the big-time

The long-awaited move for Adam Hlozek is finally complete as Leverkusen have swooped in to add the Sparta Prague youngster to their dangerous squad. And what an addition it is.

At 19, Hlozek is already ready to roll. He's got the height at 6'2" and blazing speed on the ball that will allow him to immediately thrive in the Bundesliga. Hlozek can play multiple positions, but seems most comfortable as a winger or secondary striker. He has a highlight reel of thunderous screamers with his right boot and simply finds a way to put the ball in the back of the net or leave a tap-in for a teammate. It's not always the prettiest, but Hlozek gets the job done.

Even in a deep Leverkusen squad, expect him to quickly come in and receive important playing time as he can flourish in so many different roles with his pace and power. In Prague, Hlozek topped the league with 13 assists this past season to go along with his impressive record of 40 goals and 36 assists in 132 games.

While moving away from one's boyhood club takes some adjusting, at least Hlozek has the perfect role model in countryman, Patrik Schick. Hlozek will feel right at home gaining experience with an endless list of other talents who are all paying attention to one of the best strikers in Europe with Schick.

Gerardo Seoane must be giggling with the absurd amount of attacking depth in this Leverkusen squad. Of course the roster is far from finished with more talent expected to come in and out of the club this summer. But at the moment, Leverkusen look like so much fun.

Hlozek is primed to show Europe that the hype is legit. What a show this will be.
