FC Augsburg are interested in signing Masuya Okugawa from Arminia Bielefeld, according to Sky Germany.

Per the report, initial talks have already taken place, but Augsburg are yet to make an offer for the Japanese midfielder, with a loan deal with a purchase obligation mentioned as a possibility.

According to Westfalen-Blatt, however, there is not any contact between the two clubs, with both the local publication and Kicker claiming that Arminia don't want to send Okugawa out on loan.

A permanent transfer, on the other hand, is an option if Arminia receive an appropriate offer for the 26-year-old.
