Füllkrug on his future: "I'm still pretty relaxed"

Niclas Füllkrug has commented on reports suggesting he could leave Werder Bremen this summer, saying he's "still quite relaxed" about his future.
Werder Bremen and Germany striker Niclas Füllkrug is not letting the question marks surrounding his future affect him.

Speaking at a press conference on Sunday, the 30-year-old forward, who has been linked with a move away from Werder Bremen, said:

"I'm still pretty relaxed. Some things have gained momentum."

He stressed that next year's European Championship will be a key factor in his deliberations, which will involve all parties.

"I will not make the decision alone and I will make it with full conviction. Everything has to fit and Werder Bremen always plays a role for me in this respect," said Füllkrug.

In any case, Naby Keita's surprise move from Liverpool to Werder Bremen has not reduced Füllkrug's chances of staying.

"It's an extremely good transfer," the striker said, adding:

"It's incredibly strong and a good sign for further transfers and the current situation around Werder Bremen."
