Leverkusen make initial contact with Juventus over Moise Kean, Plettenberg reports

German transfer guru Florian Plettenberg of Sky claims that Bayer 04 Leverkusen have inquired about the possibility of acquiring Juventus striker Moise Kean.
Amid confirmed reports that league leaders Bayer 04 Leverkusen will actively seek a temporary placeholder for injured Nigerian striker Victor Boniface, German transfer guru Florian Plettenberg is claiming that Germany's red company team have enquired about Juventus and Italian national team striker Moise Kean. Plettenberg himself is considering a reliable German footballing media source, but it should be noted that he himself emphasizes that only initial contact has been made.

No other German footballing media sources are picking up on the rumor at this time. Much as was the case with a story surfacing earlier today involving Spanish veteran Borja Iglesias Quintas a deal of such magnitude seems highly unlikely. Simon Rolfes and the B04 administrative team merely seek a back up for Patrick Schick until Boniface returns from injury for the latter stages of the season. Moreover, Kean himself has been sidelined with shin problems since mid-December.
