RB Leipzig want Bayern to pay at least €40 million for Timo Werner

RB Leipzig have put an initial €60 million price tag on Timo Werner and are hoping to get at least €40 million for the striker who is said to have agreed a move to Bayern München.
Bayern München have reportedly reached an agreement with Timo Werner's agent, Karlheinz Förster, which means the RB Leipzig striker is set to join the Bavarians in either 2019 or 2020.

If the striker indeed wants to leave, RB Leipig want to cash in on him in the summer. According to Bild, 'Die Roten Bullen' are ready to go into negotiations with Bayern with an initial asking price of €60 million.

However, as Werner's contract is due to expire in 2020, RB Leipzig are aware it might not be possible to get that much for him and aim to agree on a transfer fee of at least €40 million.

RB Leipzig want to avoid losing Werner on a free transfer in 2020 by all means, and Bild understands that the club have made it clear to the player and his representative that he could get to spend a year in the stands in case he neither extends his contract nor leaves the club in the summer.
