Lewandowski urges Bayern to make further signings

Robert Lewandowski says the Bayern München players are growing impatient as the Bavarians are working on making further transfers.
Bayern München need to sign more top players if they want to compete for all titles in the 2019/20 season, says Robert Lewandowski.

The German champions have brought in Benjamin Pavard, Lucas Hernandez and Jann-Fiete Arp for the first team so far, and Lewandowski is now encouraging the club to make further signings as soon as possible.

"It's not optimal that we have so few professional players in our squad. I have to say that honestly, and everyone knows that. Sure, we still have a little time. But it's not just me. The other players are also waiting for another player or two to come," the Bayern striker told Sport1 and added:

"We need more players, also to increase the competition in training. I hope the board will work on that.

"If you want to stay at the top level in the world and believe tht you can win all titles, you need a strong team. We know that Bayern probably haven't made a big signing in the last two years. It's time to do something again in regard to transfers," the Polish international said.

Bayern München have recently been linked with Manchester City's Leroy Sané and Espanyol's Marc Roca among others.
