      Goalkeeper: Koen Casteels, Wolfsburg (2)
      Made a number of vital saves to help Wolfsburg to a 1-1 draw against Paderborn.

      Right-back: Benjamin Pavard, Bayern München
      The French international put in his best performance in a Bayern shirt so far as the Bavarians took a crushing 6-1 win over Mainz. Looked particularly impressive offensively as he scored a great goal and also made an assist.

      Centre-back: Benjamin Stambouli, Schalke 04
      The experienced defender played a key role in Schalke's 3-0 win over Hertha BSC, oozing calmness and authority.

      Centre-back: Jonathan Tah, Bayer Leverkusen
      Tah put in a rock solid performance, winning 77 percent of his duels in Leverkusen's 0-0 draw with Hoffenheim. Distributed the ball well and hardly made any mistakes.

      Left-back: David Alaba, Bayern München
      The Austrian international was very active on the left side and scored a beautiful free-kick goals in Bayern's 6-1 win over Mainz.

      Right midfielder: Kingsley Coman, Bayern München (2)
      The lightning-quick winger caused plenty of trouble down Bayern's right flank and netted once as the German champions thrashed Mainz 6-1.

      Central midfielder: Ellyes Skhiri, FC Köln
      Skhiri was the architect behind Köln's 2-1 victory over SC Freiburg, assisting Anthony Modeste's equaliser before scoring the winning goal after a nice solo run.

      Left midfielder: Marius Bülter, Union Berlin
      Scored two well-taken goals in Union Berlin's sensational 3-1 win over Borussia Dortmund.

      Offensive midfielder: Yuya Osako, Werder Bremen
      Osako continued his great start to the season, scoring a brace in Werder's 3-2 victory over Augsburg.

      Striker: Timo Werner, RB Leipzig
      The German international was on fire in RB Leipzig's 3-1 win over Gladbach, bagging a hat-trick.

      Striker: Sebastian Andersson, Union Berlin
      Gave Borussia Dortmund a lot of trouble and scored a goal in Union Berlin's surprising 3-1 win.
