Report: Atlético Madrid make concrete offer to sign Matheus Cunha

Sky claims Atlético Madrid have made a concrete approach for Hertha BSC's Matheus Cunha.
Atlético Madrid have made a concrete offer to Hertha BSC forward Matheus Cunha, according to Sky.

The Spanish capital club have reportedly been keeping tabs on Cunha for a while and want to bring him to the Spanish capital, preferably as soon as this month.

But Cunha is understood to have turned down Atletico's advances because he isn't interested in leaving Hertha at the moment.

Bild recently claimed that the 21-year-old is close to signing a new deal, which would include a 25 percent salary increase as well as an exit clause.

In addition to Atlético, Juventus and Inter are also said to be interested in Cunha, who has scored seven goals and made four assists in 14 games this season.

The Brazilian forward is currently sidelined with a groin strain, which kept him out of Hertha's 1-0 loss to Arminia Bielefeld last week.
