Leverkusen to make late decision on Florian Wirtz for Berlin trip
Florian Wirtz is back in training after missing Leverkusen's last two games, but remains a doubt for Friday's clash with Union Berlin.
Bayer Leverkusen coach Peter Bosz is set to make a late decision on whether to include Florian Wirtz in his squad for Friday's Bundesliga game against Union Berlin.
Wirtz has been rested for Leverkusen's last two games, and it's not clear yet if he's ready to return against Union.
"I'll talk to Florian Wirtz today after training and decide whether he will travel or not. Otherwise, there will be no returnees compared to the Frankfurt game," Bosz told reporters ahead of the upcoming clash with Union.
Wirtz has made 19 appearances with five goals and six assists to his name this season.
