Yannick Eduardo has joined TSG Hoffenheim for a reported €2 million fee from FC Dordrecht. The second-tier Dutch club exercised their option to sign him permanently from RB Leipzig before making a big profit from his sale.

“Yannick (Eduardo) brings the necessary goal threat. His profile fits our playing style very well. He is expected to gain regular playing experience with our U23 team and develop to our Bundesliga level in the long term.” said Hoffenheim’s sporting director Frank Kramer.

The Czech U21 international scored 12 league goals for FC Dordrecht in the first half of the season. Similarly, he has a great record of scoring goals for Leipzig’s youth teams before leaving the club in an initial loan deal. The 1.93m striker has an option to play for either the Netherlands or the Czech national teams.
