TSG Hoffenheim has confirmed the loan of Erencan Yardimci to second-division side 1. FC Kaiserslautern for the upcoming season.

The striker already spent last season on loan at fellow second division side Eintracht Braunschweig where he scored 4 goals.

The deal includes the option for that the attacker to join Kaiserslautern permanently at the end of the one-year loan.

As previously reported, the purchase option could become a record-breaking transfer fee for the Rhineland Palatinate side.

“Erencan showed during his year in Braunschweig how important he can be for a team,” said TSG sporting director Paul Pajduch.

“His time at Eintracht Braunschweig furthered his development, so that he now finds the right and ambitious environment in Kaiserslautern.”

Erencan Yardimci first joined Hoffenheim from Turkish first division club Eyüpspor in the summer of 2024.
