Official: Katterbach pens new HSV contract ahead of Braunschweig loan

Noah Katterbach has signed a new contract with Hamburger SV, the Hanseatic club confirmed earlier this afternoon.
The 25-year-old will then be loaned out to second division club Eintracht Braunschweig for the upcoming 2026-27 season.
Katterbach, whp was initially loaned to HSV from 1.FC Köln in the 2022-23 season and was signed permanently in January 2024.
Due to injuries, he only made 27 competitive appearances for HSV, scoring one goal and providing three assists.
“Noah hasn’t had an easy time with us over the past two and a half years," said HSV sporting director Claus Costa.
"Nevertheless, it’s impressive how he fought his way back after setbacks and was also willing to support our U-21 team in the Regionalliga
“It’s important for Noah to get regular playing time again and find his rhythm. Therefore, we are happy to grant his wish for a change."
