Bayer Leverkusen talent Jeremiah Mensah will gain playing experience in the Dutch second division for the 2026-27 season.

The Rhineland club is loaning the attacking midfielder to Roda JC Kerkrade for the entirety of the upcoming campaign.

The German U-19 international, who couldn't be promised game time in Carles Martinez's side is under contract with the club until 2031.

In 24 appearances across all U-19 competitions for Leverkusen last season, Mensah found the net nine times and provided a solitary assist.

“This loan is intended to give Jeremiah important experience in men's football," said Bayer's Director of Football, Kim Falkenberg.

"Kerkrade offers him the best opportunities to prepare for the future and to recommend himself to us as a promising player.”
