Marcel Sabitzer has been mentioned as one of the players who could leave Borussia Dortmund this summer, and the arrival of direct competitor Jobe Bellingham hasn’t exactly eased the speculation.

However, the 31-year-old midfielder insists he’s not considering a move away.

“I’m feeling really good right now, the confidence is there, and I’m looking forward to getting started again,” Sabitzer told WAZ ahead of Borussia Dortmund’s Club World Cup opener against Fluminense on Tuesday.

“I’m very satisfied and happy here. That’s why I don’t know where these rumors are coming from. People always need something to write about, and if it’s at my expense, then I’ll take it.”

Sabitzer has played for Dortmund since 2023 and still has two years left on his contract.
