Tah comments on Bayern interest

Jonathan Tah has commented on reports linking him with Bayern Munich.

Reports have surfaced that Bayern Munich are eyeing a summer move for Bayer Leverkusen centre-back Jonathan Tah.

For now, however, the 28-year-old centre-back insists he's fully focused on finishing the season with Bayer Leverkusen.

"You're happy when you're linked to such a club," Tah told Sport Bild.

"But now I'm focused on the two titles that we can still win. I'm in good contact with [Bayer Leverkusen bosses] Simon [Rolfes] and Fernando [Carro]. Everything else we'll see after [the end of the season] - just like Simon said."

Sky Germany has reported that Tah is open to the idea of joining Bayern Munich at the end of the season.

Bayer Leverkusen CEO Fernando Carro recently made it clear that Tah will be sold unless he agrees to extend his contract beyond 2025.

If Tah decides to leave, a transfer fee of 20 million would likely be required.
