With Kamil Grabara heading for the exit door, VfL Wolfsburg have seemingly identified Hertha BSC’s Tjark Ernst as their preferred replacement.

According to Wolfsburger Allgemeine and Aller-Zeitung, Wolfsburg are largely in agreement with the player’s representatives, but Ernst has yet to give the green light, with other Bundesliga clubs as well as Ajax and Celtic also interested in him.

While awaiting Ernst’s decision, Wolfsburg have identified a couple of possible alternatives.

Stefan Ortega, who is available on a free transfer after leaving Nottingham Forest, and Eintracht Frankfurt second-choice goalkeeper Michael Zetterer are being considered, according to the report.
