Bayern Munich may be without Harry Kane after the international break. Kane suffered a “minor issue” in training while with the England squad, which sidelined him in a 1-0 loss to Japan on Tuesday. Now, Sky Sport reports that he is unlikely to play against Freiburg on Saturday.

With a comfortable nine-point lead in the Bundesliga, Bayern are able to rest Kane and prioritize the Champions League. The goal is for the striker to be fit for the first leg of Bayern's clash against Real Madrid next Tuesday.

This would be only the second Bundesliga game all season that Kane missed. The English forward was also absent in Bayern Munich's 4-1 win over Borussia Mönchengladbach in March with a calf injury, which also kept him out of the first leg of the Champions League against Atalanta.

Should he be sidelined on Saturday, Bayern could turn to Serge Gnabry up top against Freiburg. Backup striker Nicolas Jackson is still suspended for his red card in a 1-1 draw with Bayer Leverkusen.

Kane is currently the top scorer in the Bundesliga with 31 goals and has a further ten in the Champions League.
