After three years at Bayern Munich, Raphael Guerreiro's spell with the Bavarians will come to an end this summer.

FC Bayern confirmed on Monday that the versatile Portuguese international's expiring contract will not be extended.

“We would like to express our sincere thanks to Rapha for the time he has spent with us: we could always rely on Rapha on the pitch, and he is one of those characters who enriches any dressing room,” said FC Bayern board member for sport Max Eberl.

"Our discussions with him were constructive and based on trust and mutual understanding. We are now focusing, alongside him, on our goals for the rest of the season – there's still a lot we want to achieve together.”

Guerreiro has made 89 appearances for FC Bayern with 12 goals and eight assists to his name.
